2. Weight Calculation

Airfreight chargeable weight = either gross weight or volume weight, whichever is higher.
Volume weight : 1CBM=167Kgs or 1CBM=L*W*H cm/6000
Express chargeable weight = either gross weight or volume weight, whichever is higher.
Volume weight : 1CBM=200Kgs or 1CBM=L*W*H cm/5000

For example 1:
for air cargo of 500kgs/6cbm  
Gross weight = 500kgs  
Volume weight = 6CBM*167 = 1002kgs  
In this case, volume weight is higher than gross weight and therefore chargeable weight should be volume weight 1002kgs

For example 2:
for air cargo of 500kgs/6cbm
Gross weight = 500kgs
Volume weight = 6CBM*200 = 1200kgs
In this case, volume weight is higher than gross weight and therefore chargeable weight should be volume weight 1200kgs
